This Thursday July 29, 2021 marks the Fifty-fourth Anniversary of the Tragic Fire and Explosions that claimed the lives of One Hundred Thirty-Four brave American Sailors aboard the USSFORRESTAL CVA-59 as she operated off the coast of North Vietnam on Thursday, July 29, 1967. All are welcome to join with USS FORRESTAL Veterans of that day as they honor their deceased shipmates at Arlington National Cemetery in Section 46, at Grave 556-7-8 at 1030 am, July 29, 2021. After that ceremony, we will travel to the Vietnam Veteran Memorial Wall on Constitution Avenue, Washington, DC, to Panel 24E and continue with flower placement and prayers.
